August was originally the 6th month in the Roman calendar. It eventually became the 8th month when January and February were added. In the United States of America, there are many major observations in this month, few to name are: American Adventurous Month (celebrating vacationing in the Americas), National Princess Peach Month, National Catfish Month and Sandwich Month to name a few.

This month’s edition contains a basic introduction to various legal subjects like criminal and administrative law, which would help budding law students. Major US legislation to be conversant in, and an interesting case study between a mother and her 7-year-old son.
